Benefits of Organic Rosehip Oil
Rosehip Oil is renowned for its healing properties. It has been used for centuries by Egyptians and other ancient civilisations to maintain a youthful look. Although the Egyptians never knew it, this is due to the high levels essential fatty acids that are found in Rosehip Oil.
Rosehip Seed Oil comes from the "hip" or "fruit" of the rose. This is the "bulb" or hip that replaces the rose flower once it has been fertilised. The oil is removed from the rosehip through a process called "cold pressing".
Organic Rosehip Oil is rich in Vitamin A, Essential Fatty Acids Vitamin C; which help to regenerate skin cells. The other benefit of Organic Rosehip is that it is a very light oil, so it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a residue.
These healing properties of Organic Rosehip oil have been shown to benefit people who suffer from skin conditions such as:
* Dermatitis;
* Acne;
* Eczema;
* Scars
* Stretchmarks
* Pigmentation
* Sunburn; and
* Brittle nails.
Australian Rosehip Oil is gaining popularity as Australia has such great conditions for growing organic roses. Rosehip Oil is normally harvested at the end/beginning of season to get the ripest and most potent oil. This oil is then blended and prepared to produce a range of products including oils, lotions, creams, cosmetics, and other skincare products.
As Rosehip Oil is a natural product on its own does not last long, so Vitamin C is added to the oil for a longer life. Of course Vitamin C has its own fantastic benefits on the skin.
Not only is Rosehip Oil good for the skin, but it's also good for hair. Sufferers of dandruff or other scalp conditions have commented widely on how their dandruff has been eased through massaging rosehip oil in the scalp.
New born babies don't need harsh cleansers to clean their little bodies. A couple of drops of rosehip oil in baby's bath will clean and refresh your baby without chemical cleansers. In a cream form, it is also good for nappy rash.
Age defying properties
Organic Rosehip Oil is one of the few oils that contain naturally occurring vitamin A; which appears to delays the signs of ageing.
Research conducted in the 1980s found that the fatty acids contained in Rosehip Oil were necessary for healthy skin, but not produced naturally by the skin.
Acne prevention and cure
If you you've ever suffered severe acne, you may have come across the drug retinol; a synthetic Vitamin A. Organic Rosehip is a rich source of natural trans-retinoic acid (Vitamin A) and shown to have fantastic results in curing acne.
For best results in acne defence, you might want to replace all your skin care with an Organic Rosehip skin care. Try it for six months, you may be amazed at the effect it has on your skin.
Strengthens hair and nail
Organic Rosehip is also great in Shampoo and Conditioner and can be used to strengthen fingernails and strengthen thinning damaged and dandruff infected hair.
Organic Rosehip Oil is economical in use, as a few drops will go a long way. Massaged gently into the skin it is instantly and completely absorbed.
